Commvault Archive software compatible with ProStor InfiniVault Solutions


BOULDER, Colo. – Feb. 14, 2008 – ProStor Systems, a leading developer of removable disk storage solutions for data protection and archive applications, today announced interoperability between its InfiniVault™ archive appliance and CommVault’s Simpana® Data Archiver and Exchange Compliance Archiver software. When used in combination with ProStor’s disk-based archiving and compliance appliance, CommVault® Archive software enables enterprise customers to fully manage, protect and archive data to mitigate business risk.

CommVault’s award-winning Simpana® software is designed from the ground up to work together seamlessly by using a single code base and set of common services for backup, recovery, replication, archive and retrieval operations. This singular approach to data management delivers operational efficiencies that were previously impossible.
