Web API's: Having fun with Google API

Today we'll talk about using Web API's such as one from Google (there are also others such as Amazon, eBay, PayPal, FedEx and more but we'll talk about them later).

I'll post the stuff at the end of the day :-)

PS: Something came up, so we might have to wait.

  1. Hi Tarry,

Have you read about the feature AJAX used by google's gmail which dynamically update parts of a website without reloading the whole page.

    Cheers

  2. Absolutely, and it rocks! Infact AJAX is clearing up a lot of crap which all the cumbersome frameworks couldn't provide(in terms of speed). Just heard on slashdot (yesterday) that IBM is also giving some of the code to firefox. That will totally rock the IE out of it's chair! :-)

I will also explore AJAX very soon on the blog.

BTW: I wanted to respond to a post on your modblog but your "verification" image does not load. I suggest that you ditch modblog, it's neat interface but it needs some robust guys behind it :-) and blogspot has certainly lots of good guys.

  4. Ach je moet ff wachten. Gisteren kwamen we achter dat onze vriend(die huid kanker had) niet gaat het redden.
Behoorlijk heftig voor ons allemaal, vooral voor onze vriendin en de kinderen.

  5. Hi Tarry,

I know there are some problems with modblog but I think I'll stick around for some more time. Best part I liked about modblog is that the administrator keeps the members updated about what all problems are going on and when they will get fixed.

And I feel shifting around too much will make me loose my credibility ;)

PS: As for the verification code its working as I received a coment today . I'm not sure why you got this problem.

    Cheers
    Amar
