Virtualization will come, but have security by default. I am taking every single engagement with security as a top concern. This I am embedding in the design right from day one. The advice from me is:
- Secure your hypervisor from day 1
- Secure you VM within the hypervisor (Do please already start evaluating Blue lane, Catbird, Reflex Security, Altor Networks etc in your labs!)
- Trust me, you cannot afford to not be secured before you go on with virtualization
I'm curious on your advice about securing the hypervisor from day 1: How, and which hypervisor platform?
